Earth Day 2007 wishes

Image

I wish I was a shooting star.

I wish for my mother health, home, peace,
for my sisters a beautiful, full future,
for my grandma strength,
for myself grad school, a peaceful life,
for my aunt endless gardens,
for the earth people to preserve it.

For Steve and Jodi to connect with a birthmom and find a baby to adopt.
For Steve to find a 2nd job.
Lori to pay her bills.
Peace!

I’m wishing for a future I’m not afraid to live in.

We wish for clean air, clean water,
clean fertile earth,
happy birds, happy fish, happy animals, and happy people!

I wish there was peace!
I wish I had a puppy.

Peace and love to those who have lost friends and family in Iraq.

We wish all people would be as good to the earth as the earth has been to us.

Let all who are lonely find company and comfort in family and friends.

May my children grow up to be responsible earthlings.

Listen to the wind.

We love America.

I hope we can learn to value our planet as much as we value money (and hopefully much more).

As above so below.

I wish that I could climb a tree to the tippy top.

I wish to meet my Chinese mom.

I wish for a girlfriend.

A wish from the heart is a wish from the world.

I wish people would stop throwing beer bottles out of their car windows when they are driving through my neighborhood. I also wish that people would be closer—live in smaller houses with more people and talk to each other more—turn the TV off!

I wish for our world leaders to be free from corruption and to genuinely care.

The morning wind spreads its fresh smell.
We must get up and take that in,
That wind that lets us live,
Breath before it’s gone. -Rumi

Dance, when you’re broken open.
Dance, if you’re torn the bandage off.
Dance in the middle of the fighting.
Dance in your blood.
Dance, when you’re perfectly free. -Rumi

I wish we could fly kites every day.
